Tripadvisor Users Vote the Yorkshire Dales as Best National Park | The Gamekeeper’s Inn
The Gamekeeper’s Inn is nestled within the stunning North Yorkshire Dales - true natural beauty, met with warm and friendly locals - it’s no wonder they call Yorkshire God’s own county!
Now, our readers and our customers no longer need to take our word for it. Tripadvisor users (the biggest travel platform in the world might we add) have officially voted the Yorkshire Dales as Europe’s best national park, beating the likes of the Bavarian Forest in Germany, Parc National de Champagne in Belgium, Parco Nazionale del Circeo in Italy and the Abisko National Park in Sweden. Also, not to mention our local rivals the Lake District and the Peak District which we have beaten to the top!
The Yorkshire Dales Voted the Best National Park in Europe
So, how exactly did the Yorkshire Dales beat the competition and make it to the top spot?
According to the Northern Echo:
“The Yorkshire Dales has been named Europe's top National Park by users of Tripadvisor, the world’s largest travel platform. The website, which enables people to rate places they visit, has included a National Parks category for the first time in its 2021 awards and the Yorkshire Dales won the title of Europe’s best and 11th in the world. The awards are based on the destinations most popular among Tripadvisor reviewers, according to traveller reviews and ratings.”
And if you don’t believe us, you can see the rankings for yourself here.
