The Best Local Produce in North Yorkshire
The Gamekeeper’s Inn is the home of traditional North Yorkshire produce, with food and drink available that is crafted using the very best local ingredients. Whether you love pies made with local meats, or ales brewed just down the road, there really is a little something for everyone at The Gamekeeper’s Inn.
Why go local? Our vision sits in the heart of our local community. As a part of the fantastic Long Ashes Park site, we see visitors from all over the world pop into our homely pub for some traditional grub. Therefore, we want to ensure those visitors get a true North Yorkshire experience.
That’s why we do what we can to ensure everything that is served comes from local farms and local creators, it’s the only way we can ensure our guests get a true taste of North Yorkshire!
Our Menu includes many local delights, and food from further afield too, so if you’re after something a little different, we’re confident your tastes can be catered for. They say variety is the spice of life, which is why at our pub we also run a range of theme nights and special menus too, such as our famous Roasts served every Sunday and our Pie Night menu. There’s also local fayre for the little ones from our Children’s menu and even a takeaway option, for those guests who want to take our food back to their accommodation at Long Ashes Park, or to wherever they might be staying, or living!
The Gamekeeper’s Inn Afternoon Tea
Perhaps one of our favourite and indeed most famous takes on traditional and local food is The Gamekeeper’s Inn Alternative Afternoon Tea, which is a quirky and very North Yorkshire twist on a traditional Afternoon Tea. This includes a range of exciting and delicious local treats, including mini Fish and Chips, Steak and Ale pie, scones, cakes and of course Yorkshire puddings! Plus if you're not a meat eater there’s a range of vegetarian and vegan options available too!
Served between 12-5pm every day, our Afternoon Tea brings visitors and guests back time and time again, to sample local delights and to indulge in a decadent but affordable meal, in comfortable and familiar surroundings, our pub has it all! We just ask that if you’re after an afternoon tea at The Gamekeeper’s Inn, you book your table in advance with at least 24 hours notice (this gives us just enough time to make sure everything is perfect!).
Eat, drink and stay at The Gamekeeper’s Inn for a fantastic time in the North Yorkshire Dales. Book online now.
